Joining a SCUBA diving club is all about meeting new friends that share a passion or at least an interest in SCUBA diving. As a member of Abu Dhabi Scuba Divers you'll get a chance to hang out with some of the coolest people in Abu Dhabi and go in great dive trips. Abu Dhabi Scuba Divers also can help you become a better diver by arranging diver training courses with certifed PADI instructors at heavily discounted rates. Besides discounts on PADI diver training, members are also able to get discounts on equipment purchase and hire, tank fills and equipment servicing. The Abu Dhabi Scuba Divers aims to: - Develop a social network of scuba divers in Abu Dhabi.
- Organise scuba diving trips and tours for members.
- Organise social, adventure and sightseeing activities for members.
- Promote safe diving and arrange scuba diving training for members.
Abu Dhabi Scuba Divers is a SCUBA diving club managed by volunteers who, even if they do hold relevant professional qualifications, do not consider themselves to be acting in a professional capacity unless conducting an accredited training course. All advice given and actions taken are done in good faith, but the committee and agents of the club (including but not limited to the management, dive organisers, and boat skippers) take no responsibility for their advice, actions or omissions, negligent or otherwise. You cannot assume any member or agent of the club to hold any qualification other than Open Water SCUBA Diving Certification and, in addition, a boat licence if they are the boat skipper. Your presence at any club diving activity is not in any way an endorsement of your diving skills and/or qualifications. You are wholly responsible for your own safety when diving with the club and are expected to use your own training and experience to determine whether you can safely participate in any club activity. Any fees levied by the club are purely there to recover running costs. No member of the club is financially rewarded for their services unless conducting an accredited traing course. It is your responsibility to ensure that any equipment you use, whether you own it or not, is in working order and that it will allow you to safely participate in any club activity. |
